Nigeria’s Buhari returns home after lengthy UK medical care.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is received
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari arrived home on Saturday after spending more than three months in London where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
The plane carrying the president landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at about 4:30pm (1530 GMT).
He was received by senior government officials led by his deputy Yemi Osinbajo, who had been acting president in his absence.
The 74-year-old leader left for the British capital on May 7.
His prolonged absence in the country caused tensions with some calling for him to resign or return.

He handed over power to his deputy Yemi Osinbajo, who has been the acting president in his absence.
"President Buhari returns to Nigeria later today, after receiving medical attention in London," the president's spokesman Femi Adesina said in a statement on Saturday.
"President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7am (0600 GMT) on Monday, August 21," he said adding that the leader expressed had his appreciation for their prayer and support towards his recovery.
